Terms of Service

These General Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Docmet Racing services, including simulator hour purchases, session bookings, and our website. Please read these Terms carefully before making a purchase.
1. General Provisions
By using our services or making a purchase, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree with any part, please do not use our services. Service Provider: DOCMET SYSTEMS Kft. 1013 Budapest, Attila út 4. Company Registration: 01 09 988316 VAT: HU23995701-2-41 Email: info@docmet.com These Terms are governed by Hungarian law, including Act CVIII of 2001 on Electronic Commerce, Act CLV of 1997 on Consumer Protection, and Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.) on distance contracts.
2. Services
We provide: • Prepaid simulator hour packages (credits) • Session bookings using purchased hours • Professional coaching services • Event and team building services We also act as an affiliate/distributor for KartSim products. Physical product purchases are made directly through KartSim's website - we do not sell physical products directly. Service availability is subject to our operating hours and booking capacity at our Budapest location.
3. Prepaid Simulator Hours
Prepaid simulator hours ("credits") work as follows: • Credits are purchased in advance and added to your account balance • Credits can be used to book simulator sessions at any available time • Credits expire 1 year after our simulator center opens (February 2026) • Credits are transferable to another registered user upon request • Credits are denominated in hours (1 credit = 1 hour of simulator time) • Partial hour usage: Sessions are booked in 1-hour increments Pricing: • Standard rate: 30,000 HUF per hour (including 27% VAT) • Promotional rates may apply during special offers • All prices are displayed in Hungarian Forint (HUF)
4. Right of Withdrawal (14-Day Return Policy)
As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving any reason, in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU and Hungarian Government Decree 45/2014. Withdrawal period: 14 days from the date of purchase. How to exercise your right: Send a clear statement of your decision to withdraw to info@docmet.com or by post to our address. You may use the withdrawal form available on our website. Conditions for refund: • Unused credits: Full refund within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice • Partially used credits: Refund for unused portion only • Fully used credits: No refund available IMPORTANT: Once you book a specific session (convert credits to a time-slot booking), the withdrawal right for those credits is waived, as the service delivery has begun with your explicit consent. Refund method: Refunds are processed using the same payment method used for the original purchase, within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal notice.
5. Session Booking
How booking works: • Log in to your account and select an available time slot • Confirm the booking - the required hours will be deducted from your balance • You will receive a confirmation email with booking details • Arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled session Booking requirements: • A valid account with sufficient credit balance is required • Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance • Maximum booking: 4 consecutive hours per session • Minimum age: 14 years (under 18 requires parental consent)
6. Session Cancellation & Rescheduling
Rebooking policy for booked sessions: We encourage rebooking rather than cancellation to ensure fair access for all customers. • More than 24 hours before: Free rebooking to any available slot • 12-24 hours before: One-time rebooking allowed (must be used within 30 days) • Less than 12 hours before: No rebooking possible, credits are forfeited • No-show (without notice): No rebooking, credits are forfeited Refunds are not provided for booked sessions. Please plan ahead and rebook early if your plans change. How to rebook: • Through your account dashboard, or • Via our contact form Our cancellations: If we need to cancel your session (equipment failure, emergency, etc.), you will receive: • Full credit refund to your account, AND • Priority rebooking for the next available slot
7. Payment Terms
Payment processing: • Online payments are processed securely via Revolut Pay or Stripe • We do not store your card details - all payment data is handled by our payment processor • Accepted methods: Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard), bank transfer • On-site payments: Card terminal available at our location Invoicing: • Electronic invoices are issued for all purchases • Invoices are sent to your registered email address • Invoices comply with Hungarian tax regulations (NAV Online Számla) Prices: • All prices include 27% Hungarian VAT • Prices are displayed in Hungarian Forint (HUF) • Promotional prices are valid only during the stated promotional period
8. Simulator Usage Rules
During your session: • Follow all staff instructions • No food or drinks near the simulator equipment • Report any equipment issues immediately • Treat equipment with care - you may be liable for damage caused by misuse Health & Safety: • Simulator use may cause motion sickness in some individuals • If you feel unwell, stop immediately and inform staff • Not recommended for individuals with epilepsy, heart conditions, or during pregnancy • We reserve the right to refuse service if you appear intoxicated
9. Liability
Our liability: • We maintain appropriate insurance for our business operations • Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the affected service • We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages Your liability: • You are responsible for damage to equipment caused by misuse or negligence • You must follow all safety instructions and house rules Exclusions: • We are not responsible for personal belongings • Force majeure events (natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions) exempt us from obligations
10. Intellectual Property
• All website content is owned by Docmet Systems Kft or used under license • KartSim is a trademark of its respective owner • You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify our content without written permission • Session recordings (if any) remain our property unless otherwise agreed
11. Data Protection
We process your personal data in accordance with GDPR and Hungarian data protection law. For full details, please see our Privacy Policy. 12. Complaints & Dispute Resolution

13. Modifications to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect upon posting on our website. For existing credit holders: • Changes do not affect credits already purchased • You will be notified of material changes by email • Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance
14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Hungarian law. For consumers: Disputes may be brought before the courts of your place of residence or the Conciliation Board. For businesses: Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts of Budapest, Hungary.
